DSRF197 3BSE019297R1 ABB(框架) DCS is the abbreviation of distributed control system, also known as distributed control system.
Development History of DCS
After the 1960s, with the large-scale and complex production engineering, a centralized control system with centralized computer monitoring and control was born. Centralized control facilitates monitoring, operation and management, and also makes the danger highly concentrated. Once the system fails, the impact and danger on the device are very large. With the birth of the microprocessor, it has created extremely favorable conditions for the opening of the new control system. In 1975, with the continuous development and improvement of computer, communication, control and crt 4c technology, honeywell in the United States launched the distributed control system tdc-2000 to the world for the first time. Since the birth of the first set of dcs, the dcs system has undergone three developments stage.
The period from 1975 to 1980 was the start-up stage. Due to the limitation of software and hardware technology, the performance of the dcs system at this time is not very perfect, and the hardware structure is not very mature.
1981-1987 was the second stage. In this period, the fault-tolerant and redundant technology has been maturely used, the system reliability is very high, the performance is very superior, and various control functions are very rich. At this stage, dcs develops from pure industrial process automation control to production management automation. This generation of dcs mainly introduces lan (local area network) technology, which greatly enhances the network function of dcs.
Since 1987, it is the third stage of development. Manufacturers use the International Organization for Standardization (iso) open system interconnection (osi) structure to generate the manufacturing automation protocol (map) standard to solve the interconnection problem of different models. The dcs system uses more advanced cpu and redundancy technology in the hardware, the storage capacity and communication speed are greatly improved, and the software adopts a general operating system. In this stage, dcs organically combines control, supervision and management scheduling, and realizes the automatic management of various production and operation information.
