In Baosteel’s second-phase and third-phase projects, there are more than 600 sets of programmable logic controllers of more than 30 models from many foreign manufacturers, and nearly 200 sets of programmable controllers are used in the diesel engine production line of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. It is very common to use programmable logic controllers on a large scale like this. During this stage, my country’s engineering and technical personnel have fully demonstrated the ability to design applications, software production, and complete sets of equipment. Recently, in the Qinghai Salt Lake 1 million-ton potassium chloride project, which was designed by the author himself, software development, installation and debugging, the key project of my country’s western development, the programmable controller was used to form the automatic control system of the whole plant, and the programmable The program controller is designed in the MCC cabinet, which realizes a comprehensive automation system covering more than 600 MCC cabinets in the whole plant and covering all technological processes of the whole plant. The application project has attracted the attention of major foreign companies, and Rockwell Automation invited project designers to the headquarters of the US company for introduction.
Research, development and production have achieved results
With the deepening of my country’s reform and opening up, foreign manufacturers are optimistic about the Chinese market, establishing their offices in China, and even setting up their Asia-Pacific headquarters in China. Domestic enterprises have introduced foreign technologies one after another, thus promoting the establishment of a number of technology-introducing enterprises and joint ventures, and driving the technological development of my country’s programmable logic controller industry. The good news is that since the early 1990s, due to the continuous deepening of the application of programmable logic controllers, there has been a climax of independent research and development of programmable logic controllers in China. Although most of them are small programmable logic controllers, the batches are not large. However, its function, quality and reliability have been significantly improved. Representative products such as Nanjing Jiahua’s JH200 have 12 to 120 I/O points, with high-speed counter and analog functions; Hangzhou Xinjian’s D20P, its I/O O is 12/8 points, and the I/O of D100 can be expanded from 40 points to 120 points; Lanzhou Quanzhi’s RD100 and RD200, the former I/O is 9/4 points, 2 points are analog input, the latter I/O is From 20 to 40 o’clock, the extended functions include encoder speed measurement, thermocouple temperature measurement and analog I/O, 32 RD200s can be networked and real-time communication with PC. At the same time, medium and large-scale programmable logic controllers have also begun to appear in China.
